2012-2013 CYBER CRIME CHALLENGE

Create a Cyber Safety Program and
Win the Cyber Crime Prevention Challenge!

  • Participation in the Cyber Crime Prevention Challenge is limited to schools represented at the November 5, 2012, Cyber Crime Prevention Symposium. 
  • Each team must register and submit their entries by Friday, March 1, 2013.
  • Each entry will be judged on its creativity, implementation, and impact of their programs. 

RESULTS and AWARDS:

The winning school will be announced on Tuesday, April 2, 2013.  The following awards will be presented to the winning school on a date to be arranged:

    • Cyber Safety Challenge Trophy
    • The winning school will receive $1,500 (Courtesy of FOX)
    • A full-day of CyberALLY Student Leadership Workshop valued at $2,500 (Courtesy of the Anti-Defamation League)
    • And other goodies

Last Year:

Of the 41 schools that attended the 3rd Annual Symposium, five schools submitted entries: Chaminade College Preparatory School, St. Mary Magdalen School, Bishop Conaty – Our Lady of Loretto High School, St. John Fisher School, and St James School. Each of these schools astounded the Cyber Crime Prevention Task Force with their innovative and informative entries to help get the word out about what was learned at the Symposium.
